What I Learned...

1

Expanded beyond Figma, using tools like Google Slides for interaction flows, ensuring accessibility across diverse devices. This developed my adaptability and strengthened my interaction design skills. Getting into Twitter was an incredible experience that pushed me beyond my art school bubble. I met amazing people, from developers to product managers, and gained confidence in sharing my thoughts during hands-on meetings.

2

Managed large-scale projects, helping me prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail across global teams. This improved my project management and collaboration skills. The internship allowed me to put my knowledge to the test, working on cross-functional projects like the interactive architecture guide and BRG visual assets.

3

Learning to protect the integrity of my work while managing timelines and expectations helped me refine my stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.

4

Creating static visuals that could interact and boost employee morale was empowering. I gained stronger visual communication skills and enhanced my understanding of employee engagement while deepening my connection to Twitter's culture. I also learned to think outside the box, using tools like Google Slides for accessibility, and challenged my skills in Illustrator.

While much of my work remains under NDA, I can share one smaller project: designing an LED sign for Twitter's Boston office kitchen. It was my first time designing for a 3D space, blending creativity with branding to leave a lasting visual impact.
